External photography is usually the hero image for any property going to market. It is important that we ensure the care and expertise is applied to all external angles to get the best result possible. The following guide outlines the expectations and applications to apply for external photography.

• Dress outdoor furniture. • Straighten tables and chairs. • Use cushions where available. • Remove vehicles from driveways and carports. • Evening out wet driveways, pathways, decks etc
CONSIDER: • Add props to outdoor settings such as candles, pot plants, bowls, or vases. • How does Outdoor furniture present itself? Is it too close or too far from camera? • Putting up or Removing outdoor umbrellas - what is best for the image, can we use it to obscure the neighbours, does it close the image in? etc • Sweeping courtyards and entertaining areas. • Timing for large properties / tennis courts.
<aside> âť— Capture multiple angles of the facade. In most instances please capture at least 3 angles: Front on / Left side / Right side

This is often the hero shot, and many printing formats can require alternative images. It is easier to illustrate how we came to a decision if we have other options on file. Booking a reshoot can lead to missed deadlines for client.

Two good options for the rear externals are one looking into the yard and one looking back at the house. Polarisers can be a great help for externals to eliminate reflections in pools and windows
